Healing Intensives in Boulder, CO
What Are Healing Intensives?
Healing Intensives are extended, three-hour therapy sessions designed to support deeper healing and accelerated progress. Instead of stopping right when you are beginning to open up, you have the time and space to settle into the work, explore layers of your experience, and integrate insights more fully. Intensives create a retreat-like environment where your emotional, somatic, and relational experiences can be explored with intention and depth.
These sessions are grounded, focused, and highly personalized. Whether we are working with trauma, relational patterns, or emotional overwhelm, Intensives support profound processing through modalities like EMDR, Brainspotting, Parts Work, and mindfulness-based approaches. This format is especially supportive when weekly therapy feels too brief or when specific experiences need more space to move toward resolution.
How It Works
We begin by exploring your goals, needs, and intentions for the Intensive so your session is fully tailored to your emotional readiness. Together, we identify what you want to focus on, what feels most urgent or stuck, and what healing outcomes you hope to create. This preparation helps you enter the Intensive with clarity and ensures the work we do feels safe, grounded, and aligned with your nervous system.
During the Intensive, we move at a steady, mindful pace. The session includes guided exploration, somatic work, and integration time. Breaks are incorporated to support regulation, and the work is always attuned to your comfort level. Many clients experience deeper emotional release, increased clarity, and a sense of internal lightness. After the session, you may feel tired, reflective, or tender, which is entirely normal. Planning quiet time afterward allows the healing to continue settling in.
